Registered Nurse - FT, PT, PRN
A Registered Nurse must understand and express knowledge
of all levels of patient care in the
pre, peri, and post operative phases of care. He or She exercises
the ability to communicate and
assure patients and families, as well
as being able to provide a leadership role when necessary.
Applicants must graduate from an accredited school
of nursing with a current valid state license; must possess certification
in BCLS and ACLS, with preference for PALS upcoming. Prefer three
years of nursing experience with at least one year in OR. One year
of nursing experience is required.
Licensed Practical Nurse - FT, PT, PRN
Licensed Practical Nurses must understand and express
knowledge of all levels of patient
care in the pre, peri, and post operative
phases of care. He or She must understand
and apply extensive knowledge of the
standards and policies and procedures
at the center. He or She must possess
the ability to communicate and asure
patients and families.
Applicants must graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and have a current valid state license; must posses certification in BCLS with a preference for PALS and ACLS upcoming. Prefer three years of nursing experience with at least one year in an acute care setting. One year of nursing experience is required.
Technologists
Techs provide prompt and safe delivery of sterile
supplies, instruments, and equipment
realizing a break in aseptic technique
can be costly in the lives of susceptible
patients; assists in the care and maintenance
of instruments and supplies by proper
cleaning, sterilization, utilization,
and care; assists in the storage of
restocking of supplies as directed.
He or She must have a willingness
to work as part of a team and cross
train to fill in for other positions
in and around the Operating Rooms under
supervision, as necessary.
Applicants must be a high school graduate or the equivalent;
must have ability to operate mechanical
equipment. Previous knowledge of surgical
instrument is beneficial. Knowledge
of anatomy and physiology preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.
Must have current BLS certification.
- Resource Tech (FT, PT, PRN)
- Radiology Tech (PRN) - must be a graudate of a radiology program with certification - OR Tech (FT, PT, PRN) - must be a graduate of a CST program with certification - Endoscopy Tech (FT, PT, PRN)
